    Metrics That Matter

    ✨ Thursday, March 14, 2024

    ✨  9:30-11:30am

    ✨ Meeting virtually over Zoom

What do you measure as a benchmark of success? Learn how tracking metrics that matter will allow you to enhance the experience you can offer volunteers, build your case for support and raise the profile and appreciation for your role as a leader of volunteers.

In this session, you'll be introduced to spinktank's 4 Quadrant Model for understanding the gaps in what you're tracking which are limiting your ability to make informed decisions and advocate successfully.

    Guest Speaker:
    Erin Spink
    M.A. (Leadership)

Over the past 25 years, Erin Spink has gained international recognition as a speaker, writer and trainer in Volunteer Engagement. Her work includes the first-ever academic research quantifying the concept of “volunteer engagement”, multiple chapters in the CCVA accreditation textbook and regular contributions to the Engage journal as co-author of the Points of View articles and co-editor of the Ethics column.

Erin has a passion to enhance and improve how Leaders of Volunteers use and collect data to support their work and facilitate impactful Volunteer Engagement and challenges Leaders of Volunteer Engagement to be the strategic, powerful resource they are within their organizations and communities.

    Volunteer Retention

    ✨ Thursday, April 11, 2024

    ✨  9:30-11:30am

    ✨ Meeting virtually over Zoom

How can you retain volunteers with more demands on their attention than ever before? How can you successfully engage your volunteers while meeting varying motivations and preferences? In this session, we’ll explore retention approaches to keep volunteers engaged, and explore how motivations impact volunteer engagement. We'll also look at the role of effective retention planning to enhance your overall volunteer engagement strategy.
