Mission:

Toronto Association for Volunteer Administration (TAVA) provides professional development for its members through educational events, networking, mutual support and raising awareness of the importance of volunteerism in the community.

TAVA is also proudly 100% volunteer led, by an Executive Committee (voted in and informed by our members) who support TAVA's mission.

Membership:

Our membership is comprised of volunteer engagement professionals, working in various sectors, from across the Greater Toronto Area, and surrounding areas.

History:

AVA's (Associations for Volunteer Administration)* have long supported those who engage volunteers. TAVA is the AVA supporting volunteer engagement professionals in the GTA and surrounding area. And, for over 40 years now, TAVA has also promoted the work of others pushing for positive systemic and social impact in our society and voluntary sector - including our other AVA's, as well as other local, provincial, national and global bodies helping those who engage volunteers. *Note: Visit PAVRO's website for a listing of the AVA Liaison Network.
