September Workshop| Unlocking Potential Through C.O.U.R.A.G.E.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: 

In the volunteer space, open and honest communication leading to creative problem solving is one of the differences between a thriving community and a doomed cause. But creating a space for safe, open and honest communication takes work. C.O.U.R.A.G.E. is a seven-step communication tool that supports you in creating a place for you and your teams to unmask obstacles that hinder the free flow of ideas and creativity. During our C.O.U.R.A.G.E-ous Conversation, we will:

• Identify some of the mental blocks hindering opening communication.
• Learn how to establish a safe space in the first few minutes of a conversation (it starts earlier than you think)
• Discuss methods of dealing with emotionally charged conversations.
• Develop an action plan to unlock potential using C.O.U.R.A.G.E. in your future conversations.

Guest Speaker: Claudette Hutchinson, C.T.P.D., C.P.T.D., is an internationally certified talent development professional with 24 years of designing and delivering transformative learning experiences for global communities. Devoted to serving the not-for-profit ecosystem, she is an active life-long volunteer. Claudette currently sits on two boards and continues to hold various positions on multiple committees. In addition, she dedicates time to connecting, supporting, learning from, and educating people on how to elevate their community through C.O.U.R.A.G.E-OUS Conversations.

✨ This workshop is open to TAVA Membership. For the 2022-2023 program year we are offering a one time Pay-What-You-Can ($1-$49) Membership Fee if the full amount ($50) isn't feasible for you. Become a Member!
