2022 Conference - Beyond Talk: Taking Action in Volunteer Management

Volunteer Toronto and TAVA are proud to partner for Beyond Talk: Taking Action in Volunteer Management, the 3rd annual joint conference to educate and support volunteer management professionals. This will be our second virtual event, and we look forward to once again expanding our reach beyond the City of Toronto. 

Join us virtually on Thursday, February 10th from 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM EST.  

The pandemic has resulted in new realities for the volunteerism sector. Constantly shifting government mandates and public health measures has presented unique challenges in the way organizations work and operate. In spite of this, we have seen incredible resiliency, as volunteer programs have been able to adapt and shift gears to find new ways to re-engage their communities.

This conference will serve as a much-needed space for volunteer engagement professionals to learn, share and gain tangible tools to continue to adapt and make necessary and meaningful changes to their programs and services. Contributions from guest experts in the volunteer/non-profit sector and beyond will inspire, energize and further equip conference participants to translate new ideas and learning into effective action.

• Non-Members/Subscribers – $45

BURSARY:

In our goal to make this conference as accessible as possible, bursaries are available for those who are unable to pay the entrance fee. Email our Awards Chair, Holly Procktor directly at awardstava@gmail.com 

Recipients in need will be provided with a registration code to attend for free. *Please note that we only have a limited amount of bursaries *

Beyond Talk: Taking Action in Volunteer Management will be held virtually via Zoom. A link will be sent upon registration, and will be provided again in reminder emails. • Registration Changes: To make changes in your registration, email us at tavaexec@gmail.com

• Refunds and Cancellations: Since TAVA and Volunteer Toronto have made financial commitments to our presenters and the content will be available following the end of the event, the 2022 Conference is non-refundable.
