TAVA is invaluable to Volunteer Administrators because of the amazing networking opportunities, fantastic workshops, and enriching resources it provides. Through TAVA, my passion for working in the volunteer sector has expanded.

I am looking forward to witnessing our theme, Mission:Possible, come to life as we listen to our AMAZING Speakers, connect with one another and share our stories.
what does volunteering on the conference committee look like?
It's a lot of fun and a great opportunity to be creative and extend your professional skills. I thought of fun themed based activities such as Minute to Win It Games. I am also working on a new twist to the traditional conference swag bag! Stay tuned!

What advice would you give to someone looking to take the next step in their Volunteer Engagement career?
I would encourage anyone looking to take the next step into their Volunteer Engagement career to consider joining TAVA. It's a great way for individuals who are new to the sector to meet like-minded people, retain valuable knowledge and grow in their profession.
When you're not working or volunteering with the conference committee, how do you like to spend your time?
In my spare time, I love to volunteer! I am an English Teacher at West Neighbourhood House and absolutely love my Tuesday night classes. I also love to travel, run, read and scrapbook.
